After multiple placings in Sydney for Donna Scott with horses like Lord Von Costa and Bennelong Dancer, Scott said “it was a relief to finally break through in Sydney, I have won plenty of races in Melbourne but haven’t been able to crack Sydney”.
Sydney is located 6 hours north of Albury, for Donna and her team it requires an overnight stay.
Since joining the stable Gusonic has had 7 starts and has only been placed out of the top 3 on one occasion.
Gusonic will line up at Sandown this coming Wednesday. Familiar territory for Donna Scott and half the travel time for all involved. Gusonic was also nominated at Warwick Farm Wednesday, drawing awkwardly at both venues. Scott said “I scratched from Warwick Farm this morning, because it is a heavy 10 and doesn’t seem to be improving”.
Gusonic hasn’t raced since the 15th June, but Donna isn’t concerned about fitness leading into Wednesday assignment.
