Wrapping up the month of March with a winning double at Wagga. Scott took three runners to Wagga and fancied them all a winning chance.
Arthur The Great, a horse with plenty of natural speed set the tone for the day making every post a winner in the BM82 over 1400m. Partnered by jockey Blaike McDougall, who has recently made the move back to the SDRA after doing a 3 year stint in Melbourne.
“This horse has been ever so consistent and running well without winning. Moving forward it was good to see him put a race away like that. His run in the SDRA Country Championship Qualifier first up was impressive and I was pleased with his efforts. After a win like that today, he will take good confidence out of that.” Scott said.
Daze Off then followed suit, taking out the Country Boosted 58 over 1200m. After a late rider change from stable apprentice Amy O’Driscoll to Canberra apprentice Rebecca Bronett Prag. O’Driscoll with a concussion on the the day seen her stood down by the stewards and Bronett Prag picking up the ride.
