It’s been well documented that Donna Scott finished 2022 with an impressive 9 winners for the month of December. John Tapp recently reached out to Donna, noting her success in December which had earned her twelve bags of Pryde’s Easi Performance.

One of the 9 winners for the month was a Hazel Park bred galloper MY BOY MO, which was Donna’s 100th career winner! Donna trained My Boy Mo’s mother La Cachette very early on in her training career and Hazel Park has now successfully raced all three of her foals and all three are winners.

OUR LAST CASH and CLEVER ART,  went to Corowa’s meeting 3 days after Christmas. Both started deserving favourites and won accordingly. “It was imperative to their chances of running in the Country Championships in February 23′ that they won at Corowa. It’s a race where you want to have your horses rated accordingly to ensure they are securing a spot. Both Our Last Cash and Clever Art are strong up and coming horses. I have a lot of time for both of them, they are completely different horses but the one thing they have in common is they’re fast!” Donna said.

Donna Scott continued her hot form, training a winning double at Wagga on 17th January. SIASHA JEWEL broke her maiden over a mile with jockey Kayla Nisbet aboard. LA SANTE followed suit taking out the BM74 1400m with a beautiful steer from Jockey Brendan Ward. La Sante making it known that the Country Championships will also be well in his sights. Donna had La Sante targeted for the Country Championship’s in 2021 before an unfortunate accident on her walker which seen La Sante on the sidelines for 12 months. “It’s great to see him back at his best. I felt absolutely terrible after his injury for all involved. He was most defiantly one of my main chances in 2021 and I have no fear his stable mates will be needing to bring the A game to be beating him in February” Donna Said.
