Our Last Cash was successful in winning his first up assignment at Flemington in early August before Donna opted to travel him to Sydney in hope to build a profile with The Kosciuszko in their sights. Our Last Cash, was slow away and finished 8th. “Disappointing venture, we needed him to run well in that race to enhance his chance at securing a spot in The Kosi” Scott said.
After his performance in Sydney, she opted to bring her gelding back across the border to Flemington in BM78, engaged the services of jockey Craig Williams and the combination bagged their second Metropolitan win from 3 starts for the Campaign. “He loves straight racing, I’d be silly not to continue to bring him back” Scott said. Our Last Cash will head down to Flemington on Friday the 6th in preparation for another benchmark race over 1200m on TAB Turnbull Stakes Day.
